1 - Convex cones, Polyhedra, Optimization over polyhedra, Norm optimal Control, Convex hypersurfaces in infinite dimensions: I strongly recommend to the readers to refer exclusively to the new book. For Polyhedra, LP, in finite dimensions refer to the new book, to the 1997 book (which also adds details and Vector Optimization) and to the JOTA 2006 Paper.
2- Variation Filtering and Fast Projection. The new paper (cited above) contains an overview of this topic and is largely self-contained. So it also works as the ideal reference to describe this line of research.
